PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Product photo color correction from an approved reference.
For color correction, identify whether the aim is to balance the photograph or change a selected product colour. Supply an approved reference and describe which parts of the image should be affected.
Specify the intended output colour space and file format. Different displays can show colour differently; a clear reference and a defined output workflow make the requirement easier to assess.

Receive edited files in the agreed format and colour space. Ask for layered PSD delivery if you need editable adjustments.
Pricing and delivery
From $0.50 per image. Targeted selections and detailed colour matching are quoted after image review. We confirm the total, file formats and delivery time after reviewing your samples. Please mention any urgent deadline before ordering.
Color correction for consistent product images
A catalogue may contain photographs from different shoots, cameras or lighting setups. The same product can appear warmer, cooler, darker or more saturated between views. Color correction helps bring those photographs towards an agreed reference so customers can compare products more easily.
Tell us which image represents the intended appearance and which details need adjustment. A neutral background, a white fabric and a reflective metal surface may each need a different approach. The brief should identify the areas that must remain unchanged, including labels, logos, texture and decorative finishes.
Separate colour balancing from product recolouring
Correcting a colour cast is different from creating a new product variant. Balancing an existing photograph aims to improve its overall appearance. Recolouring changes a selected area, such as a garment or packaging panel, to a specified target.
If you need several colour variants, provide a reference for each option and identify the exact area to change. Include close-up photographs where materials have fine texture, transparency or reflections. We review the source files before confirming whether the requested result is suitable for the images supplied.
Prepare references for color correction
Send the highest-quality originals available rather than screenshots or repeatedly compressed copies. Include an approved previous edit, a reference photograph or another agreed colour guide. Explain whether the images are intended for an online store, a printed catalogue or both.
For repeat batches, keep a reference folder with the approved image, crop, background and export requirements. If the source lighting changes between shoots, include representative examples from each setup. This makes it easier to discuss the differences before production begins.
Review the finished image set
Review color correction across the full set and compare alternate views of the same item. Check that light areas retain visible detail, dark areas have the intended depth and product labels remain legible. Note any files that differ from the approved reference.
View the files in a consistent review environment. Displays, viewing software and print conditions can affect perceived colour, so tell us how the finished files will be assessed. Send revision notes with file names and specific observations, such as an unwanted warm cast or a selected panel that needs adjustment.
